The answer is that there is a
place for individual effort and achievement and there is a
place for teams. The two can work well together as long as
the team is developed in the right way initially. Without
this, individuals can work against each other and the result
can be disastrous. A successful team needs successful individuals
and it can be the team environment that leads individuals
to succeed.
Our Approach
We all know that being part of a team can be rewarding but
it is often left to chance as to whether the team works or
not. However, there are effective ways to motivate team members
and ensure their contribution is recognised.
This workshop will demonstrate how to build a better team
and how to use techniques such as delegation to best effect.
When team members work effectively with each other, they also
achieve greater success for the company.
Our programme will cover the following:
- The stages of team development and how we create an effective
team through these stages
- Goal setting and success criteria
- Effective coaching as a management style
- The importance of feedback
- How we motivate our team
- Looking at the roles defined by Belbin
- How to delegate in a constructive and positive way
- Management of conflict within the team
